Getting Our Tickets

Hubby and I were planning to visit back home this year. Everything that we need to do are done. We just bought a house last year and we need to set anything that we need to do. My paper works were also done and yay am now a US permanent resident! I can travel where ever I go. Now hubby want me to check our tickets. We want to get some deals and A friend of mine told me that there are some reasonable tickets out there.. We will be flying from Denver to L.A. and L.A. to Manila. Me and hubby will want to do connecting flights and not direct one for us to see other countries too. Hopefully I can find one and I need to do my search soon. I miss my family so much and I need to see them soon.

Family Everywhere

Having family spread out all over the US is tough enough as it is but since my brother is so un-into phones it’s hard for us to stay in touch. Last year I developed a sort of email chain for all of us to use to talk to each other and that’s been helpful – now we just Reply All and everyone gets the same email – no worse for the wear.

I love my family, I really do, but having to talk my mom through the clear-internet.com site was tough and it’s going to be easier to teach her how to email and get on Facebook when I’m actually there in person. My parents aren’t exactly tech fiends and it’s not like I am, either, it’s just that sometimes it makes the most sense for me to use tech to be in touch rather than hop on a plane every two months, you know? anyway, I love my sisters but they’re the easiest – I just send them Facebook messages when I want to!

New Furnitures

On our anniversary hubby asked me what I want for our especially day. I want a new purse but I realize that our dinning table was too small. We also need to fill in our unfinished family room. I always weight things out. I can not be flashy knowing my house still need to have more stuff. SO I decided I want a new dinning set and a couch.

Hubby was proud of my decision. He bought the dinning set and the couch for the house. I can always buy a new purse anyways. Thanksgiving is drawing near and I am glad to have our new dinning set to accommodate our guest. We invited 3 couples to come.

Me and hubby will shop tomorrow for the things that we need on our thanksgiving day. I have a lot of things to be thank of. I have been blessed! So excited to have turkey, stuffing, deserts and other thanksgiving dish. I am also excited for the pay time off that my job given to us.

I googled Directv Brandon to see what tv options were available in my area. After last weekend, I need tv! My bulldog puppy, Layla, got sick with a parasite. It was really rough. She was so sick, the poor thing. After I took her to the vet, I stayed with her all weekend. I barely moved from her side. It was exhausting. Other than the worry, I kept thinking, "gosh, i could use some good tv options right now!" People told me that having a puppy is a lot of work. And I thought I understood.

But it's like having a baby! Seriously. It is one of the most exhausting endeavors I have ever been through and I've pulled all nighters for school. This weekend, with my new tv package, I have been laying on the couch with Layla and watching tv.

We usually keep it on Bravo, and we fall asleep on the couch and wake up to the New Jersey housewives fighting in their reunion episode. Such vitriol. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I don't understand why people being nasty to each other makes great tv. In my opinion, it doesn't. It makes me anxious.

Pacman Once Again Brought us to Fame in the history of boxing...

Watching our co-filipino fighting for our country's fame was extra ordinary feeling. I was ecstatic, anxious and even nervous every time he got some punches from his opponent. Pacman and marquez fight was a close one. It was a good fight that some people did not understand.

I do not know how to judge the game but I guess I trusted their judgement, I did not feel any questions in my mind. I am a fair person and watching pacman bleeding and fighting vigorously was such a touching feeling for me. For 12 rounds the verdict was delivered and pacman won once again. I feel proud and happy since another fame was added in the history of sports.

Here in the states, people get together and reunited to support and watch pacmans fight. I feel disappointed hearing our co-filipino criticize pacman's hard work to fought for our country's fame. I did not get it at all. To marquez I admired your strenght...your a good boxer too but in the game someone always need to win and to lose. You still did a good job!
