It's winter season and my girl friend's are planning to go skiing. It's ski holidays and I must admit am excited to finally experience the exhilaration of gliding the slope's with bunch of snow. I had no idea what is the difference between skiing and snow boarding.
Accordingly skiing and snow boarding are much a like in nature. They can be executed and play downhill with so much fun. However the difference between the two is snowboarding is a snow sport that involves descending the slopes using poles. The snow board riders just sit down with massive amount of holding energy.
In the contrary skiing has no poles or cylindrical back up and the skier need to remain standing in a vertical position with a free style movement, going down to the scale. Both snow sport needs a safety guard to prevent any unexpected incident. If I had a choice I would love to try skiing. Why because I find it more fun and adventurous. I don't want to sit down but I want a free moves and styles.
I want more velocity and shout with excitement. I do believe that skiing has more faster speed than snow boarding. Accordingly skiing is easy to be learn and you will be familiar with significant concepts of snow edging and carving. As a beginner like me I need to read more lessons and get familiar with the specific moves and tricks. I know it takes time but I will give it a try. How about you?
