I had this old folding chair that I've had at my vanity where I sit and do my makeup and hair in the mornings, but I decided to get rid of it. I was fixing my vanity a little bit anyway by giving it a fresh coat of paint and I realized just how sorry the chair must look to people who come in my house and see it. So I decided to replace with something a little more comfortable and attractive.

I found this basic little bench at an antique shop near my house and thought it was so cute. So I brought it home and painted it to match my vanity. Then I recovered the cushion in this really dainty looking floral pattern that's perfect for a vanity cushion.
