What's the difference between prenuptial and post nuptial agreement? It is very uncommon to hear that a couple decide to have post nuptial agreement. It just don't seem normal but anyways, one of my friend was struggling to her situation. Her immigration papers wasn't done yet because of the prenuptial and post nuptial agreement that she strongly disagreed. She called me last night, asking for some help. I have no clue about post nuptial so I made some brief research and this is what I came up.
Pre nuptial- it is a kind of agreement entered into by a couple before the marriage. This includes the property matter, food, money, health insurance, bills, assets, debts and anything they will agreed of.
Post nuptial- it is a kind of agreement entered by a couple after the marriage. This includes the same stuff that I mentioned on the the pre-nuptial. '
There are more deep explanation between prenupt and postnupt but one thing I learned that post nuptial is not easy to enforce. There is a family code that needs to be follow by law.
